While the conversation about online purchases seems like old news, there are some new figures that deserve our attention. Digital Commerce 360 recently published an article by Mark Broham that highlights some of the major B2B ecommerce trends.
Here is one in particular that caught our attention: One in three B2B buyers make over 50% of their purchases online. That is a material figure.
This is further proof that without a strong ecommerce offering, B2B firms have little chance of capturing additional market share. The trend toward online purchasing has picked up even more momentum and B2B firms need to rise to the occasion and meet customer need for a quality ecommerce experience.
